C-64 Audio

OK it’s time to try out my new audio/video plugin. This is the best piece of music I ever programmed on the Sid-Editor. Bear in mind that I programmed this music without ever hearing the actual song by White Lion. After programming the first few bars of music and playing it back I decided on the instrument sounds and the other composition parameters. When later I obtained the actual albumn and listened to it for the first time, I thought then that my home made rendition was pretty damn good! First it was proprietary C-64 Sid music, converted to a wav and then converted to an MP3. Let’s see how she works shall we folks?

When The Children Cry by White Lion

My Hybrid C-128

This was a monumental project. I took an old instrument case and built my own C-128/PC which includes a 2meg hard drive and a CD-Rom drive. It also includes an IDE-64 interface which I had to build from plans and parts I obtained from Norway I think. The IDE-64 interface handles the hard drive and the CD-Rom drive. I still have it but it’s collecting dust in the garage. I think I may dust it off soon and see if it still works.
It went from this:
